01 / The product
A reply to a customer. A project update. A message in another language. Lispr gives these everyday tasks a voice input path, without moving the writing into another editor.
Native desktop apps capture your voice while you keep your place in the app you are using.
Dictation, translation and a personal dictionary are available on Free. Pro adds formatting and removes the weekly minute cap, subject to fair-use limits.
Text is inserted at the cursor in supported text fields. Local history gives you a way to recover and reuse the result.
“Hi Ana, the draft is ready. Can you review it before our call tomorrow?”
Hola Ana, el borrador está listo. ¿Puedes revisarlo antes de nuestra llamada de mañana?
Illustrative translation. Cloud speech processing requires an internet connection.

02 / Evidence of use
Of the 1,530 installations active during 24–30 September, 1,217 returned during 1–7 October. Repeated writing tasks give Lispr a place in the working week.
961 installations were active on at least 10 of the 30 observed days. Alongside the adjacent-week return rate, this shows use extending beyond a first try.

04 / Product and distribution
Lispr competes with built-in dictation and dedicated voice tools. Our focus is a simple desktop workflow that brings dictation, translation and personal vocabulary together.
Our target is people writing messages, support replies and project updates throughout the day, often across languages.
Prioritize accurate text, reliable insertion and easy recovery. Measure the experience from release of the key to usable text.
Develop localized discovery, founder-led demos and partner recommendations. Evaluate each channel through activation, renewal and costs.
05 / Next priorities
Help more new installations reach a useful first result, then track how use develops over subsequent weeks.
Improve the path from trial to paid use and renewal. Evaluate contribution after service costs and partner commissions.
Improve insertion reliability and reduce the wait for usable text, with comparable measurements on both desktop platforms.
Deepen the Mac and Windows experience: better onboarding, useful formatting and dependable recovery.
Execution priorities reflect a competitive category and the service costs of cloud speech processing.

07 / Measurement notes
The figures describe observed product activity during a fixed period. Definitions and comparisons are available below.
Usage covers complete UTC days, 8 September–7 October 2026. The comparison tables include the previous 30 days and both adjacent full weeks. Data were read on 8 October 2026; this snapshot does not update automatically.
Activity includes transcription, formatting, translation and salvage requests. Known test traffic is excluded. Installation counts also exclude unknown IDs. Multiple devices and reinstalls are not deduplicated into people. Sampled telemetry can omit low-activity IDs or days.
Transcription request totals are sampling-weighted estimates, include retries and failures, and do not count successfully inserted texts. Traffic without a known installation ID contributes to request totals only. Maximum observed sampling interval: 10.
Weekly return is 1,217 installation IDs active in both 24–30 September and 1–7 October, divided by 1,530 IDs active in the earlier week. This is repeat use of the existing active base, not D7 retention of newly acquired users. Installation counts and return rates are not sampling-corrected.
